Commercial Construction Superintendent

Pacific Sun Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial construction projects ranging from approximately $1M–$5M in value. This role is responsible for managing field operations, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring quality and safety standards are upheld throughout construction.We are looking for a motivated, organized, and solution-oriented team member who can manage multiple subcontractors and project activities in a fast-paced commercial construction environment. ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projectsCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspections, and site logisticsMaintain project schedules and support milestone trackingEnsure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and project requirementsCoordinate with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, and office staffConduct subcontractor coordination meetings and site walkthroughsMaintain jobsite safety and enforce OSHA compliance requirementsMonitor project quality control and workmanship standardsIdentify and resolve field coordination issuesTrack project progress and provide daily or weekly updatesCoordinate inspections and support project closeout activitiesMaintain current drawings, ASIs, and revisions onsiteSupport punch list completion and final turnover activitiesRequired Qualifications3+ years of commercial construction superintendent experienceExperience managing commercial projects in the $1M–$5M rangeStrong understanding of commercial construction practices and sequencingAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsExperience coordinating subcontractors and inspectionsKnowledge of OSHA safety requirements and jobsite safety practicesStrong communication and leadership skillsValid driver’s licensePreferred QualificationsExperience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management softwareFirst Aid / CPR certificationCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceCompany vehicle or vehicle allowancePaid time off and holidays401(k) with company matchTechnology package (phone, tablet, laptop)Opportunities for growth and advancementSupportive and team-oriented work environmentAbout Pacific Sun ConstructionPacific Sun Construction is a growing commercial general contractor serving the Portland Metro area, specializing in tenant improvements, renovations, remodels, and ground-up commercial construction.
