Full Time Hospice Aide - North Region

Sprenger Hospice is looking for compassionate individuals that enjoy working with senior adults. As a STNA for Sprenger Hospice you will be responsible for providing basic patient care to promote patient comfort and support under the direction of a registered nurse.Job ResponsibilitiesProvide basic personal care needs according to the patient care plan and under the direction of an RNDocumenting all duties in a timely mannerAttending required in servicesOther duties as assigned Job RequirementsYou must have at least 1 year experience with direct patient care in home health, hospice, hospitals, and/or a long-term care facility.Licensed by the state of Ohio; STNA must be in good standingValid driver's license along with reliable transportationMust be willing to travel between homes and facilitiesMust be able to work independentlyClear criminal background checkDemonstrates interest and empathy for the terminally ill and is comfortable with issues of death and dyingPossess strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively and professionally with patients, families and colleagues Benefits Offered: Health, Dental, and Vision401K PlanBenefits available after first 60 days of employmentPTOTuition Reimbursement Job Type: Full-time Qualifications:STNA (Required)Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferredMust possess interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors.Must exhibit or demonstrate the ability to learn computer skills related to electronic clinical record documentation.Must have reliable vehicle/transportation, valid drivers license and the required automobile insurance
