Interested in joining our Team?DescriptionTeam Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is looking to hire an Telecom Supervisor ( Aerial and Underground) for our San Diego , CA location . The Supervisor position will be responsible for leading field crews to meet project goals in a safe manner. This position is also responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations and job completion of assigned telecom projects, in both Aerial Telecom and Underground Telecom markets. The wage range for this position is $34.00 to $38.00 an hour depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new customersOrganizing materials, equipment, and laborProviding all required job reportingCompleting as-builts and redlinesWork the job to bring in under estimated costManage change order and progress billingCommunicate job status with customer, be responsive to requestsEnsures safety practices are observed by all crewsReports, coordinates and supervises all aspects of a projectMay work independently performing site surveys for estimates, proposal preparation, or quality assuranceEvaluate Teammate's performance and develop a plan for increasing growth and responsibilityDocument Teammate counseling, warning, and terminations Requirements & Qualifications : Previous utility construction leadership experience is requiredAbility to travelMust have experience in Utility construction and Network InstallationExperience in contract management, change orders and unit price schedules etc.Ability to interpret construction drawings and create as-buildsMust have computer skills and experience with Microsoft office applicationsValid Drivers LicenseProficient with MS WORD and ExcelQualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
