Java Software Engineer

This is a hybrid technical-consultative role where you will design, develop, and implement service management solutions while working closely with stakeholders.What You'll Be DoingDesigning and developing scalable applications using Java and/or KotlinWorking directly with clients to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutionsImplementing and customising service management platformsCollaborating with cross-functional teams including consultants, product owners, and designersSupporting clients through delivery, deployment, and continuous improvementWorking with Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Jira Service ManagementWhat We're Looking ForStrong experience in Java and/or Kotlin developmentComfortable in a client-facing or consulting environmentExcellent communication skills in German is essentialInterest in service management, workflows, and process optimisationExperience with Atlassian tools OR a strong willingness to learnProblem-solving mindset and ability to work independently and in teamsNice to HaveExperience with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud platformsKnowledge of ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL)Previous consulting or stakeholder-facing experienceWhat We OfferUp to €90k + bonusRemote with occasional visits to MunichStructured training and certification support (including Atlassian)Why Join Us?This is an ideal opportunity for engineers who want to move beyond pure development and play a key role in shaping solutions with clients.
