DANCE This Intern

DANCE This Internship provides work within the rehearsal and performance process of a major Seattle Theatre Group program. Interns will be apart of every aspect of the production from start to finish including scheduling, rehearsal, sound, set up and administrative duties. This is a unique opportunity to interact with dance industry professionals and young artists.This is a part-time, temporary position that earns $22/hour.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TODistribute printed and online materials.Work with team on administrative needs for the projectRun Check-in for Auditions, Rehearsals and/or classesHelp with group assembly and artist wranglingWork in collection of paperwork and materialsAssist in keep rehearsals on time, running smoothly, and organized.During performances or final share, function as additional back stage crewAct as show runner and on call personnelSupport any needs for ECE managers to run programMust be able to available for both or 1 of the following programs:DANCE This PerformanceApril/May/June Dates (Onsite for rehearsals, office - various dates based on schedule)May 9, 2026 from 11-7pmJune 14, 2026 from 4:30-9pmJune 30-July 10 all dayDANCE This Camp - Weeklong residency at Ft Worden State ParkSpring/Summer (Office time - various dates based on schedule)August 1-9, 2026Attend any trainings and orientations as scheduled and/or neededTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Dir of Community Programs with the goal of improving our programsFirst Aid/CPR Trained (if not certified - STG will arrange training)Bonus: Ability to speak different languages welcomed.
