Please consider joining our Talent Community so that we may continue to engage with you.Job DescriptionSEM-Microscopy Technician-Contract PositionResponsibilitiesCollect, Prepare, image, and document the structure and/or composition of nanostructures related to semiconductor devices.Manage the queue of samples and cleaving/analysis instructions from the Process Engineering staffSample preparation by hand cleave and micro-cleaver using tweezersSample highlighting including but not limited for dilute Hydrofluoric AcidImaging sample features utilizing Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM]Collecting compositional feature data utilizing Energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX)Communicating imaging results to the Engineering staffDevelopment and optimization of analysis techniquesTrain new users on sample Preparation and Analysis EquipmentUpdate and maintain Training and certification documents for sample Preparation and Analysis EquipmentActively participate and contribute to continuous SEM Operations efficiency improvementQualificationsBS degree in Physical Science or equivalent experience is requiredPrevious hands-on experience with X-SEMHitachi SEM experience is greatly preferredProficient use of handling samplesJob duties include the preparation and handling of small samples for analysis. The candidate should be comfortable manipulating small samples (less than 5mm) and tools (tweezers, screwdriver, scribe, etc.) under a microscope.Ability to workCompressed Work Week Night Shift (i.e. 6pm - 6am) and weekends is required.Salary Ranges$23.99 - $32.11Individual pay is determined based on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skills, job-related knowledge, relevant education, certifications, and/or training. In addition to base salary, we offer (full time regular employees ) a comprehensive benefits package and for certain roles eligibility in our bonus plan and long-term incentives as applicable.
