About the Role Benji Personal Injury is seeking an excellent litigation attorney who is disciplined, highly dependable, and detail-oriented who is looking to learn and to one day be the best. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality work, enjoys structure, and can be trusted to complete assignments thoroughly and on time. You will work closely with senior attorneys and be a key part of our litigation team, handling substantive tasks from pleadings through trial preparation. Key Responsibilities You will be responsible for core litigation work, including: Drafting Complaints and related pleadings Reviewing and responding to discovery, including form, special, and RFAs Taking and defending depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts Drafting, opposing, and arguing motions, including: Demurrers Motions for Summary Judgment Motions to Compel / Quash Other pre-trial and post-trial motions Handling pre-trial and post-trial motion practice Trial preparation and participation, including exhibit lists, witness outlines, trial briefs, and jury instructions Attending hearings, mediations, MSCs, FSCs, and bench/jury trials Maintaining organized case files, deadlines, and follow-ups with precision Communicating professionally with clients, experts, and opposing counsel Who You Are Disciplined, focused, and steady — consistently reliable in your work A worker who enjoys getting things done and doing them well Trustworthy with assignments, deadlines, and confidential information Detail-oriented, methodical, and strong at written work A self-starter who doesn’t need hand-holding and appreciates clear expectations Someone who values preparation, accuracy, and follow-through please be teachable and willing to learn Pay: $96,658.16 - $130,000.00 per year Benefits: Paid time off Referral program Education: Doctorate (Required) License/Certification: California Bar license (Required) Ability to Commute: Los Angeles, CA 90024 (Preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Los Angeles, CA 90024
