Lead Test Engineer

ActioNet has an opportunity for a Lead Test Engineer requiring a Public Trust clearance in the Washington D.C. metro area. The right candidate will work well with a team, exhibit excellent customer service skills, be self-motivated, and seek ways to improve the environment.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop a test strategy and test plan to achieve test objectives and requirements. Manage the resources necessary to accomplish all phases of a test event, planning, execution, analysis and reporting. Delegate and direct successful execution of a test event in accordance with the test plan and within the required time constraints. Use the risk management process to manage risks associated with test planning and issues encountered during test execution. Resolve programmatic and technical conflicts that arise during the conduct of the event. Present test results in a clear, concise report that gives the customer meaningful information regarding the system's ability to meet the test objectives and requirements. Brief test design plans and test results to test team. Develop test cases/test procedures that trace to test requirements and objectives. Develop operational mission-based scenarios to support test events. Work in a team environment to ensure that customers, management, and test participants are properly updated on test event progress and on specific technical or programmatic issues that require their attention. Track system issues using configuration management software such as JIRA, etc. Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a related field. Five years of quality assurance or testing experience. Project management experience. Configuration management experience. Knowledge on test support tools such as M&S tools, data collection tools, data analysis tools, test automation tools, and network analyzers. Testing concepts/methodologies (Scenario, Negative, Regression, RTM). Desired Position Qualifications:International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB)/CSTP-X. Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST). Project Management Professional (PMP). Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
