Nelson Engineering A full-service Engineering firm is seeking a Structural Design Engineer for a full-time, year round position offering the opportunity to work on a variety of unique and challenging projects across the mountain west. Nelson Engineering is a multidisciplinary firm known for our collaborative approach, commitment to quality, and deep roots in the Jackson community. Applicant should have a minimum 3-5 years of experience in structural design, with skill in Concrete; Masonry; Steel & Timber design, as well as familiarity in Wind & Seismic design. EIT required, PE license preferred. Must be experienced in Revit; AutoCad, Risa & Enercalc, as well as Word & Excel. What You’ll Do: Perform structural analysis and design for residential, commercial, and municipal projects Prepare construction documents, specifications, and technical reports Collaborate with internal teams, architects, contractors, and clients Conduct site visits and inspections to support project execution Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and coordination We offer competitive wages and good benefits in a relaxed yet professional atmosphere.
