Senior Accountant
Job Description: Operates under the direct guidance of the Controller and supports complex accounting activitiesAssists with the transition of accounting operations for newly acquired entitiesSupports balance-sheet integrity initiativesParticipates in staff training alongside the ControllerExecutes Controller-led decisions and helps enforce internal controlsSupports audit readiness and operational continuityOwns and leads special projects across finance and accounting in collaboration with the ControllerActs as project manager for accounting-led initiatives with guidance from the ControllerServes as primary owner of technical accounting matters with Controller oversightDrives audit readiness and execution in partnership with the ControllerActs as primary reviewer and trainer for staff accountants across functional areas working closely with the ControllerRequirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's a plus)5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month-end close ownershipStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and practical application in a corporate environmentExperience preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statementsProven ability to manage the full monthly close process under tight deadlinesExperience with revenue recognition and accrual accounting (ASC 606 exposure preferred)Familiarity with lease accounting (ASC 842) and fixed asset accounting a plusExperience supporting audits and working directly with external auditorsAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, large data sets)Experience with accounting systems such as NetSuite, Workday Financials, QuickBooks, or similar ERP platformsAbility to work across multiple entities and manage intercompany transactionsStrong attention to detail with the ability to see the bigger financial pictureExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environmentBenefits: Health insuranceRetirement plansPaid time off
