Founded in 1985, the restaurant has been serving eclectic cuisine with a unique blend of live entertainment and events. In 2024 our popular cocktail bar, The Walk-In, was added and has served as a new late night favorite spot. Role DescriptionThis is a hands on, full-time role for a General Manager at Hal and Mal’s. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the dining rooms, bars, including The Walk-In, events, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, handling financial transactions, and driving business growth. The General Manager will also be responsible for planning and coordinating multiple events happening simultaneously. QualificationsExperience in food service management, including experience in a high-volume restaurant environmentBanquet, events and catering experience requiredExcellent leadership and team management skillsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with staff, customers, and vendorsDemonstrated ability to manage financial transactions and create budgetsAbility to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environmentStrong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer satisfactionBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related fieldKnowledge of local and state regulations relating to the hospitality industry is a plus
