SENIOR FIELD SUPERINTENDENT
ABOUT THE ROLEThe Field Superintendent oversees all field operations on precast construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. This role is responsible for managing site activities, including layout, staging, deliveries, erection, bracing, equipment coordination, and crew supervision. The Field Superintendent works closely with project stakeholders to ensure efficient execution, quality control, and compliance with company and regulatory standards.Salary range $76,900-$100,000 a year. They are a confident leader who can effectively manage crews, coordinate complex jobsite logistics, and ensure safe, efficient project execution. This individual is detail-oriented, highly organized, and skilled at interpreting plans, managing sequencing, and solving field challenges in real time. They bring strong communication and leadership abilities and consistently drive accountability, safety, and quality in all aspects of field operations.IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE7+ years of precast erection experience or 10+ years in field constructionKnowledge of precast concrete systems, erection methods, and construction sequencingAbility to read and interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawingsUnderstanding of crane operations, crane charts, and rigging coordinationExperience using survey equipment for layout and alignment verificationStrong leadership skills with ability to manage crews and drive performanceExcellent communication skills for coordination with clients, contractors, and internal teamsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer systemsOSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)Valid driver's license with ability to travel to job sites WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm useCapable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hoursComfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequentlyAbility to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazardsWillingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (Depending on location)Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.This profile summarizes key duties and expectations but does not list every possible job task.
