Machine Maintenance Technician

Job DescriptionLuttrell Staffing Group is currently hiring Maintenance Technician positions in Wytheville, VA.Details for Maintenance Technician Position:• $22-24 / Hour (BOE)• Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire• Zero Fees - you'll never be charged for any screening service• Fast Start Date• Weekly PayJob Duties for Maintenance Technician Position:• Install, repair, and maintain machinery, mechanical equipment, and electrical/electronic systems for automotive parts manufacturing• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components• Replace or repair defective parts including sensors, motors, wiring, and control valves• Fabricate, machine, and assemble replacement parts using lathes, grinders, drill presses, and other tools• Perform preventive maintenance such as lubrication, belt checks, coolant changes, and cleaning• Inspect and adjust parts and equipment to ensure proper function and quality standards• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to install and optimize new equipment and workflows• Test, reprogram, and verify automated systems including robots and programmable controllers• Maintain and repair building systems such as lighting, heating, and ventilation• Process waste water and coordinate coolant recycling with vendors• Complete daily maintenance documentation and report unsafe incidents or conditions to management• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place• Completes any other related tasks as neededQualifications for Maintenance Technician Position:• Associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology or maintenance-related field, or 5-7 years' technical experience/training, or equivalent combination• Wear PPE as required• Interpret technical documents and blueprints; write reports and manuals; present information clearly to others• Apply mathematics including probability, statistics, geometry, and basic arithmetic to practical scenarios• Requires close, distant, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus• Ability to stand for duration of shift• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel, twist and reachIf you have the experience and skills we're looking for, apply to Luttrell Staffing today!
