We are seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in General Surgery for a 21-day assignment in North Carolina, starting May 9, 2026. This role involves 24-hour weekend call, managing an average of 7-8 patients daily, 1-2 admissions per day or night, and performing approximately 50 surgical cases monthly. Key procedures include appendectomies, strangulated hernias, cholecystectomies, and other emergency surgeries. Responsibilities and Duties Provide 24-hour weekend call coverage. Not required to remain on-site while on call. Manage an average of 7-8 patients per day. Handle an average of 1-2 admissions per day. Handle an average of 1-2 admissions per night. Perform approximately 50 surgical cases per month. Does not respond to codes. Does not serve as back up in the ER. Perform procedures including appendectomy, strangulated hernias, cholecystectomy, I&Ds, and other emergency procedures.
