Acute Staff Nurse - Med / SurgMLR is proud to partner with a respected healthcare system in South Carolina to recruit a skilled Staff Registered Nurse (RN) for their Medical/Surgical unit. This full-time, day-shift position offers a meaningful opportunity to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced hospital setting.Key Responsibilities:Direct Patient Care: Conduct assessments, administer medications, manage wound care, and track patient progress.Care Coordination: Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement customized care plans.Patient Education: Guide patients and families on treatment plans, post-operative care, and discharge instructions.Documentation: Ensure accurate and thorough documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system.Patient Safety: Promote patient safety through effective communication with patients and their families.Support Unit Operations: Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers within the unit.Qualifications:Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a Med/Surg or acute care setting.Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.Benefits:Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurancePaid Time Off (PTO)401(k) retirement plan with employer matching
