2ndWave LLC (2ndWave) is seeking interested candidates that are subject matter experts in Federal grants management business processes and systems, with an emphasis on process improvement, modernization, and transformation.Responsibilities:Apply grants management system experience to the NIH/eRA Federal Shared Service (FSS) system to learn core capabilities to support:User issues/challenges with the eRA system and processes through education and developing training artifacts.Management of the NIH/eRA non-production environment (UAT and staging) including user account management, user acceptance testing of fixes and planned releases, and engagement with bureaus using the non-prod environment to understand business processes.Capturing Requirements: Facilitate meetings with client subject matter experts to document and clarify business and technical requirements required for new bureau implementation and capturing bureau DOC change requests, applying best practices from across the Federal government.Business Process Harmonization: Lead business process harmonization between legacy and to-be processes for new NIH/eRA implementationsBusiness Process Roles: Lead the analysis of role mapping from legacy to new environment and develop transition plan for new bureaus planning to implement eRA.Reporting Needs: Facilitate discussions with client subject matter experts to determine their reporting needs via the modernized system's reporting capabilities and become proficient in the FSS reporting tool--Query, View, Report (QVR)Required Qualifications:Be a subject matter expert with the Federal grants management business process, for both formula and discretionary grants, from the Federal grantor perspectiveHave broad experience across multiple Federal agencies' grants management systems and interfacesExperience leading clients through business process and systems transformation and modernizationBe familiar with the Grants Quality Services Management Office (QSMO), including their frameworks and activitiesBS/BA in Business or Information Technology and 14 years of experienceDesired Qualifications:Subject matter expert in Federal grants accounting, including commitments, obligations, payments, refunds, and de-obligationsUnderstanding of and experience with grants system interfacesHave a Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS) certificationMust be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. W-2 employment only.
