We are seeking an experienced Employee Benefit Plan (EBP) Audit Partner to lead, expand, and elevate our premier EBP practice. In this strategic leadership role, you will take ultimate ownership of audit quality, deliver high-impact assurance and advisory services, ensure strict compliance with ERISA regulations, and drive business development initiatives. Location & Flexibility Work Arrangement: REMOTE Designated Hub City: New York, NY (Open to candidates residing anywhere within the United States with proximity to major metropolitan regions). Technical Quality Control: Provide final technical review and guidance on complex accounting and compliance matters, navigating ERISA, Form 5500, and Form 11-K reporting standards. Practice Growth & Business Development: Drive practice expansion by leading proposal responses, pitching to prospective corporate clients, and identifying cross-selling opportunities for advisory services. Client Advisory: Cultivate long-term relationships with plan sponsors, acting as a trusted advisor on benefit plan design, internal controls, and regulatory risk management. Talent Development: Coach, mentor, and guide senior managers, managers, and staff auditors, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting team advancement. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with tax, ERISA legal specialists, and employee benefit consulting teams to deliver seamless, integrated solutions. Financial Management: Oversee engagement profitability, billing workflows, budgets, and operational efficiency across the practice portfolio. Qualifications & Requirements Licensure: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing (strictly required). Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive public accounting experience with a heavy concentration in Employee Benefit Plans, 401K administration, and Form 11-K filings. Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of EBP systems and controls, 403b plan audits, and Health & Welfare plan audits and consulting. Leadership Track Record: Proven history of successful practice leadership, business development wins, and client retention in a professional services environment. Communication & Vision: Exceptional executive presence, presentation skills, and the ability to articulate complex financial and regulatory concepts to corporate boards and non-technical stakeholders. - For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
