Position: Northeast Regional Sales Manager - Commercial Roller Shades (Remote)
Location: Fully Remote (with travel across the Northeast region and to the office in Charlotte, NC)
Our Award-Winning Client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Northeast Regional Sales Manager to drive growth for their highly regarded Commercial Roller Shade line. As a leader in building materials, our client has earned numerous accolades and operates nationally, making this an excellent opportunity for a motivated sales professional.
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and execute targeted sales strategies to surpass regional goals.
Cultivate and expand relationships with key decision-makers such as architects, designers, general contractors, and facility owners.
Implement territory management techniques to ensure effective time use, focusing on both Architecture & Design (A&D) and Distribution.
Conduct daily prospecting to identify new business opportunities.
Provide technical expertise and serve as a trusted resource for customers, offering product recommendations and specifications.
Monitor and assess the regional market landscape, analyzing competitors to enhance sales performance.
Coordinate with internal teams (Sales Director, Inside Sales, Account Management, Technical Support) to optimize sales results.
Maintain up-to-date customer information and sales data using industry-standard systems and reporting tools.
Lead engaging product presentations and AIA CEU sessions (minimum of 6 per year).
Manage project timelines and processes to ensure successful outcomes and customer satisfaction.
Demonstrate high-level communication skills, applying Professional Selling Skills (PSS) to understand and address client needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Proven success in B2B sales, with a strong track record in construction sales or window coverings.
Familiarity with selling to architects and designers within the territory is essential.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must reside within the Northeast territory or be willing to relocate.
Candidate Profile:
With over 5 years of experience, the ideal candidate will bring a background in construction sales, particularly in building products or window coverings. They possess strong problem-solving abilities, thrive in fast-paced environments, and excel in relationship-building. A proven ability to deliver consistent sales growth, coupled with advanced communication and presentation skills, makes them an ideal fit for this role.
