Supported by a team of professionals skilled in design, sourcing, production, sales, marketing & distribution of premium quality children's wear, Haddad distributes globally to 100+ countries and maintains sales and sourcing offices in 22 cities globally, including New York, Paris, Hilversum, Shanghai, Egypt, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, and Montreal.Overview:The Sr. Director of Sales will define and oversee the strategy, vision, and execution for an independent business unit or department.Key Accountabilities:Partner with VP/SVP of Sales and cross functional teams to drive company's strategic initiativesWork directly with the VP/SVP of Sales and sales team on retailer strategy and execution, delivery of sales goals, and post-mortem analysisOversee all aspects of account management, including brand strategy, pricing models and inventory managementDevelop and execute three-year financial plans, including pricing and seasonal strategies, by retailerResponsible for organizing all market appointments, client trips, and presentation preparationPartner with the VP/SVP of Sales to provide updated data for all corporate licensing meetingsManage monthly sales performance by account (including sales booked and shipped) to ensure goals are being met and provide competitive market analysis by categoryPartner with Merchandising and Design to identify new product opportunitiesCollaborate with the Visual/Marketing team to position brand properly from an in-store perspectiveWork cross-functionally with Planning, Brand Management and Sales teams on account analysis to optimize resultsUtilize breadth of knowledge to improve systems, process, and efficiency within functionPartner cross functionally to improve systems, process, and efficiency across the organization to streamline the businessPropose and execute strategic opportunities to be best in class and drive departmental growth/newness Recruit, train, develop and manage the performance of all team employees as assignedTravel to account(s) as required to present product, strategy and financial targets for seasonal sell-inSpecial projects as assignedRequirementsRequired Skills/Abilities/Education:Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration or related field10+ years of experience in the wholesale fashion industryAbility to travel as needed (up to 40%) Strong communication, presentation and organization skillsMust be a strategic thinker, persuasive and collaborative Ability to lead and motivate sales teamAbility to understand, interpret and execute the brand's needsConsistent in-office presence is vital to the role as it is for all Haddad Brands team members, so that we all have a full appreciation, aesthetically and tactilely, of the qualities that define our brand partners' products and set them apart from their competitors. Salary Description$125,000 - $200,000 per year
