Benefits:Company partiesEmployee discountsFlexible scheduleFree uniformsOpportunity for advancementPaid time offTraining & developmentWellness resources401(k)401(k) matchingCompetitive salaryDental insuranceHealth insuranceParental leaveTuition assistanceVision insuranceThe Tasting Room in South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is seeking a Tasting Room Barback.Duties include:Organize and ensure appropriate stock of wine behind the bar, noting the more popular wines vs. less popular.Ensure the refrigerator in the tasting room has cold wines for wine servers.Assist with twice-weekly wine pulls moving stock for both tasting room wine cage and the tasting room floor.Ensure tasting room lobby cashier station and refrigerator is fully stocked with wine; checking regularly on busy weekends and also ensuring refrigerator is stocked with waterBring chillers to pour stations prior to opening time and monitor chillers throughout the dayKeep the area behind the bar clean and free of trash or other debrisMaintain the stock of clean glasses behind the bar and ensure that dirty glasses are picked up in a timely manner and placed in racks for transport to the kitchenPerform empty bottle counts throughout the day and turn in the final counts at the end of shiftTake out the empty bottles from the Tasting Room each dayTake out the trash from the Wine Cage and Gift Shop Inventory Cage (including broken down boxes) on a regular basisRestock bags at the cashier stations as neededBring clean glasses back from the kitchen throughout shiftClean the chillers and pour spouts on a weekly basisContinually monitor public areas for trash, glasses and other debris and keep the area clean for our guestsProvide assistance with monthly inventoryAttend departmental meetings as requiredAttend offsite events on behalf of South Coast Winery Resort & Spa as neededMaintain good working relationships with fellow South Coast Winery associates
