Job Title: Fullstack Java DeveloperLocation: Dallas, TX 76155 Hybrid (Local Only)Description:This job is a member of the Information Technology Team within the Information Technology Division.Responsible for leveraging cutting edge technology to solve business problems at by participating in all phases of the development process from inception through transition, advocating the agile process and test-driven development, using object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct and test reusable objects, and making the codebase better.What you'll do: Plans, develops, tests, and documents computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systemsEvaluates user request for new or modified program to determine feasibility, cost and time required, compatibility with current system, and computer capabilitiesFormulates plan outlining steps required to develop program using structured analysis and designPrepares flowcharts and diagrams to illustrate sequence of steps program must follow and to describe logical operations involvedDesigns screen displays to accomplish goals of user requestConverts project specifications into sequence of detailed instructions and logical steps for coding into language for processing by computer, applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languagesReviews, replaces, deletes, or modifies codes to correct errorsAnalyzes, reviews, and alters program to increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirementsAll you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job ExperienceBachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training3-5 years of application development experience3-5 years of full stack JAVA programming experience, Angular, React etc.3 years of SQL Database Development2-3 years of Azure cloud experience including Azure Data Factory, Databricks and other PaaS components2-3 years of Experience with DevOps Toolchain methodologies3 years of SQL Database Development2-3 years of ETL Experience2-3 years if Experience, working in cloud infrastructurePreferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience5+ years of JAVA Programming experience5+ years of SQL Database Development5+ years of application support experienceAirline Industry experienceSkills, Licenses & CertificationsDemonstrated experience in the following:Java, XML, HTML, or similarWeb Services, such as REST/SOAP, JSON/WSDL/XMLEclipse or similar IDEMS Team Foundation Server (TFS)Oracle - PL/SQL, DB2 SQLObject Oriented Analysis, Design Patterns, and FrameworksExperience with DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration, and Continuous DeploymentExperience with Agile project management methodologyDemonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environmentsPossess a keen desire to learn and expand depth of knowledgeAbility to analyze complex problems and implement solutions and/or workaroundsProficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)
