Sr Commercial and Residential Smart Technology Technician

Senior Smart Home Technician (Luxury Residential Systems) We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Smart Home Technician to join a growing, design-focused integration team specializing in luxury residential systems. This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who takes pride in precision, thrives in high-end environments, and understands that details matter at every level—from rack build quality to the client experience. What You’ll Do Install, configure, and commission advanced smart home systems in luxury residences Configure and deploy Crestron Home systems (strong system setup experience required) Execute clean, organized rack builds and structured wiring installations Integrate subsystems including audio/video, lighting, shading, networking, and surveillance Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and final commissioning Deliver a polished, professional client experience during walkthroughs and training Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other technicians to execute projects at a high level What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience in smart home / low-voltage integration Strong experience with Crestron Home (advanced configuration experience required) Exceptional attention to detail — you care about fit, finish, and function Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability Professional communication skills and strong customer presence Ability to work independently and lead on-site when needed Clean, organized approach to installations and documentation Preferred Experience Advanced Crestron system configuration or certification Experience with distributed audio/video systems Strong networking knowledge (professional-grade systems preferred) Lighting control, shading, and security system integration Experience working in high-end or custom residential environments What Sets This Role Apart Work on thoughtfully designed systems — not cookie-cutter installs Focus on a refined set of technologies to ensure quality and reliability High standards for both technical execution and client experience Opportunity to be part of a team that values craftsmanship and long-term performance Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience Opportunities for advancement and continued training Work on some of the most advanced residential systems in the region Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee assistance program Employee discount Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Relocation assistance Vision insurance Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Commercial or Residential technology: 1 year (Preferred) Low Voltage: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
