Type of Opportunity: Full timeJob Exempt: YesJob is based: Presbyterian Kaseman HospitalWork Shift: Days (United States of America)Responsibilities:Coordinate and manage department standards, programs, and policies-including patient nutrition services, office operations, staffing workflows, and compliance with all regulatory and organizational guidelines. Lead and support cooks, supervisors, food service workers, and diet aides through coaching, performance planning, interviewing, hiring, training, and retention efforts. Maintain accurate operational and financial data, including HR documents, time reports, invoices, cashhandling records, sales reports, and required monthly/annual reporting. Oversee qualitycontrol processes such as HACCP logs, temperature checks, recipe compliance, tray accuracy, audits, QAPI documentation, and patient satisfaction rounding. Develop and refine menus for patients, cafeteria services, and catering in collaboration with RDs and culinary leadership; at Presbyterian Main, ensure CBORD compliance with JCAHO, CMS, and DOH requirements, including nutritional analysis and HIPAA standards. Qualifications:Requires High School Diploma and 5 years relevant experience or an Associates degree with strong Food & Nutrition knowledge. Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively with patients, customers and support staff. Ability to write letters, summaries and reports. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, statistics. Requires management and leadership skills and ability to work with confidential employee and patient information. ServSafe certified (may obtain certification within 6 months of job assignment.)
