Position Summary: The Employment Manager (EM) is first and foremost to model Trellis values and promote creativity and possibilities to Discovery and job placement services. This position leads, manages, and holds accountable a team of employment specialists as they serve our clients in accessing competitive integrated employment. In addition, this position is responsible for predicting and staffing employment specialist caseloads, developing and maintaining vendor relationships, and achieving services and revenue goals for their department. Responsibilities: Lead: Conduct weekly meetings with individual employment staff to provide support for client services, planning for upcoming and current clients, and individual ES feedback and training; Bi-monthly staff meetings; Enforce and model Trellis Policies; Demonstrate Trellis’ Core Values Manage: Communicate clear expectations; Report measurables to scorecard; Reward and recognize; Manage vacation requests, sick time, schedule changes and at times being the person to cover the client Accountability: Review reports and invoices weekly; Review discovery reports throughout the two months and provide ES with feedback; communicate with the admin when to schedule review meetings; Ensure all clients are being met with as required; Write and conduct employee reviews Staff Clients for Employment Specialist Case Loads: Coordinate with employment admin to send out flyers to recruit new clients; Review potential client referrals to accept or decline; Meet with new clients, PA/SC, VRC to accept or decline services; Forecast caseloads to create a wait list and adjust frequently; Facilitate the transfer of VR clients to a job coach Develop and Maintain Vendor Relationships: Attend new client meetings; Network at conferences; Maintain timely and professional communications Achieve Service and Revenue Goals: Work with Employment Admin to develop monthly billing summaries; Manage employee billable and non-billable ratios; Report monthly income to Employment Director; Complete monthly billing by checking invoices and reports, verifying time worked and ensuring that the amount billed is reflected in the quality of the work; Hire new staff Requirements: 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role 2+ years of experience working with individuals who experience an I/DD Solid understanding of supported employment, including working with clients and employment partners Skilled in examining potential client referrals Experience and skill in meeting with new clients, PA/SC, VRC to accept or decline services Experience managing vacation requests, sick time, schedule changes, etc. Experience reviewing reports and invoices Please visit our website to learn more about Trellis: https://www.trellis-or.com/ Trellis an equal opportunity employer.
