Job Summary Medline has an immediate opening for a Manager, Vendor Chargebacks! This position will be based out of our Mundelein, IL office and will offer a hybrid model of work. The Manager, Chargebacks will manage the Chargebacks team charged with financial reconciliation with external parties and customers. This person will also be responsible for all related activities (such as chargeback dispute resolution, settlement negotiations, escalations for complaints, SOPs) surrounding the chargeback process. Job Description Job Responsibilities: Oversee the resources, activities and outcomes of the chargeback process. Translate leadership strategy into actionable tactics and objectives. Collaborate with team, external parties and sales reps to resolve issues, decipher responsibilities and close disputes. Serve as the primary lead for external audits, and internal audits. Providing documentation that supports postings. Organize, plan and recommend analysis and reports consistent with continuous improvement of processes and procedures. Responsible for analysis, reporting, and optimization of the division's chargebacks; provide insight into trends or unusual performance. Delegate tasks to ensure the maximum productivity along with monitoring email box to ensure timely responses. Decipher issues which cause chargeback disputes. Communicate and support Medline policy and position to drive positive outcomes and resolution. Lead regularly scheduled conference calls with external parties to reconcile discrepancies efficiently. Identify process changes to decrease risk and increase efficiency. Recommend, develop and implement SOP documentation along with reporting and process improvement recommendations. Lead functional and cross‐functional team meetings to meet objectives and improve processes. Management responsibilities: Typically oversees professional employees/teams OR manages non-professional employees through Supervisors in manufacturing, distribution or office environments Day-to-day operations of a group of employees May have limited budgetary responsibility and usually contributes to budgetary impact Interpret and execute policies for departments/projects; develop, recommend and implement new policies or modifications to existing policies Provide general guidelines and parameters for staff functioning Hiring staff, recommending pay increases, performing performance reviews, training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies Minimum Job Requirements: Education Bachelor's degree in a business-related field. Work Experience At least 5 years of experience analyzing and reporting data to support business operations. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Experience analyzing and reporting data to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions. Experience collaborating with internal resources and external resources to meet department goals within established timelines. Experience negotiating with outside vendors, including negotiating contracts, prices, resolving service issues and reconciling differences. Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams, partners, and vendors — both verbally and in writing. Demonstrated adaptability to new systems and processes. Experience in SAP and/or Vistex. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Preferred Job Qualifications: Work Experience Experience coaching, mentoring and/or training staff. The anticipated salary range for this position: $101,000.00 - $152,000.00 Annual The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
