Come join our team!Job Overview: This position is responsible for supporting the legal department and staff attorneys related to all corporate legal matters. Areas of responsibility include evaluating legal/contractual documents for compliance with terms and conditions, legal correspondence with Loomis customers, legal evaluations, litigation, and monitoring sensitive risk/financial-related data for trending. This position reports to the VP Legal Services.Job ResponsibilitiesSupport Loomis attorneys in reviewing, negotiating, and drafting i) service agreements; ii) vendor agreements; iii) real estate agreements; and iv) other cash management agreements. Responsible for ensuring contract terms and conditions meet the company’s contracting requirementsFrequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, vendors, landlords, and others, along with external counselRouting legal notices and correspondence to the appropriate internal departmentsLimited contract review, revision, and redlining (depending on experience)Performing document and contract managementProcessing contract amendmentsLitigation supportSupporting negotiation of Non-Disclosure AgreementsResponding to various legal requests from sales teamsSupport research regarding legal contracting and contract management toolsResponding to internal requests for contractual templatesAssist with contract dispute tracking and analysisComplianceSupporting review and processing of legal invoicesSupporting with departmental project auditsAuditing petty cash (receipting process)Licensing issuesOther duties as assigned.Primary QualificationsCollege degree with paralegal experience in handling corporate legal work, including real estate, contract negotiation, litigation, employment preferredMinimum of five years paralegal or contracts manager experience requiredExperience in either the transportation or financial services industries is a plusIndividual Skills And CompetenciesExcellent technical skills including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are requiredExperience in an environment that requires multitasking and strong organizational skillsProven written and oral communication skillsBenefitsLoomis offers one of the most comprehensive employee benefit packages in the industry, which includes:Vacation and Sick Time (PTO) as well as Paid HolidaysHealth & Dental InsuranceVision Insurance401(k) PlanBasic Life Insurance PlanVoluntary Life Insurance PlanFlexible Spending and Health Savings AccountDependent Care AccountIndustry-leading Training and DevelopmentLoomis is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug Free Workplace.
