Mechanical Assembler

The Mechanical Assembler will assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces or products using a variety of tools and equipment per required specifications in a specific area of a manufacturing organization.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesRead, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and productsUtilize hand held tools such as a hand-held screw and drill gunMaintain inventory of product in work stationsPerform quality work checks to insure the product meets quality standardsIdentify product defects and ensure supervision is notifiedRework and/or repair assembled equipment per instructionsPerform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety proceduresMaintain a clean and safe work areaQualification RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDGood verbal communication skillsMechanical assembly experienceBasic reading skills.
