Fund Accounting Controller/Director | ~ $15B Private Credit Firm A tier 1 Private Credit Firm is seeking a high-level Fund Accounting Controller/Director to lead their teams accounting and financial reporting functions. This role is based in the Los Angeles Area and offers a unique opportunity to oversee complex fund structures with established accounting/operations teams. The role will have high visibility to the C-Suite as well as department heads.The RoleIn this leadership position, you will be responsible for the integrity of financial reporting and the operational success of diverse fund vehicles. You will manage internal processes, oversee overseas outsourcing teams, and act as a critical bridge between the accounting, legal, and tax departments.Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive OversightFund OperationsStructural ManagementCompliance & LiquidityStrategic ReportingManagement of 10+ employeesQualificationsExperience: 15–20 years of overall investment accounting experience with Private Credit exposureEducation: 4-year degree in Accounting or Finance.Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of US GAAP and proficiency in managing complex financial data.Certifications: CPA license or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.Leadership: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet rigorous deadlines, and communicate effectively with institutional investors and internal teams.
