Lead Python/React Full Stack Founding Software Engineer

I'm working directly with the founder of an AI-native SaaS platform that transforms how medical device companies navigate design controls and FDA submissions, accelerating access to life-saving technologies.This is a founding Hands-on Senior Software Engineer role. You'll partner directly with the founder as a team of two to architect and build a production-grade platform that models complex regulatory workflows using ontology-driven data systems, graph-based relationships, and LLM-powered automation.We're looking for a hands-on, backend-leaning Full-Stack Engineer (Python 60% React 40%) who enjoys solving hard data modeling problems—such as semantic retrieval, structured reasoning, and interconnected system design—and wants real ownership over foundational system architecture in a true 0 → 1 start-up environment.Early-stage, high-impact role with meaningful equity.Boston hybrid (2–3 days/week). $150-160k+ base + founding equity.US Citizen or Permanent Resident required.The founder is looking for the following:- Python/React/Neo4j developer (60% back-end 40% front-end)- Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and security best practices- Experience building or scaling data-intensive SaaS platforms in regulated environments- Background in search, recommendation, or complex data modeling- Experience building AI/ML or intelligent automation systems- Track record of leading small, high-performing teams in early-stage companiesThe job description is available.
