Material Handler - 1st Shift

Job Summary KP Staffing Grandview is now hiring Packers in Lee's Summit, MO! The packer will deliver packing supplies to the molding production floor from the warehouse and transport molded skids to the warehouse. This role supports production by replenishing materials, moving finished goods, and maintaining tracking records throughout the shift. Pay $17.38 per hour Shift 1st shift: 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. Duties Ensure the boxes are placed on the skid as per the packing specification Tightly wrap the skid so that the boxes are properly secured Create pallet ID for all skids of products produced Perform molding and IML production MP transaction scanning Deliver the wrapped skid to the warehouse for storage Assist in transporting products for QC sort to and from warehouse Keep records of pallet ID created during MP transaction for tracking purposes Replenish all packing supplies at the scheduled machines by following IPS at the machine and sign off line clearance sheet Replenish empty skids on the production floor Remove broken or damaged skids to the warehouse Return all recyclable cartons and u boards to the warehouse Replenish the tape machine when empty Keep records of corrugates, liner bags, and u boards brought to the production floor for traceability Perform line clearance during product change Collect purge and drool twice during the shift Collect scrap bags from the production floor and place them in blue bins Clear scrap products lying around the machine area into scrap bins Recharge the battery of the electric hand truck when low Perform daily checks on the pallet truck, keep records, and report any issues to the supervisor Escalate maintenance issues of the electric pump truck and tape machine to the supervisor Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience handling the electric hand truck would be an asset Proven ability to deliver results On-the-job training specific to the job provided in addition to training on health and safety, SQF policies, WHMIS, and cGMP policies and procedures Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others as part of a team Job Type Contract To Hire How to Apply Start by submitting your resume or visit KP Staffing Grandview, Mo for an in-person interview.
