Apply via Dice today!Job Title: Google Cloud Platform Cloud/Network Engineer Location: Livingston, NJDuration: Long termTax Term: W2 ResponsibilitiesJob SummaryLead the architecture and delivery of networking solutions across Google Cloud Platform cloud environments (AWS and Azure are secondary)Design, deploy, and manage network infrastructure to ensure strong performance, security, and scalability.Drive automation and orchestration of cloud services to streamline deployment, management, and scaling across multi-cloud environments.Apply strong routing expertise, including BGP and OSPF, within modern cloud and hybrid network architectures.Serve as a technical leader for complex networking initiatives, providing guidance on design, troubleshooting, and operational best practices.Evaluate new technologies and tools, support proof-of-concept efforts, and contribute to continuous improvement of network capabilities.Partner with cross-functional teams across IT to gather requirements, prioritize work, and deliver secure and reliable network solutions.Work with vendors and service providers to assess and implement technologies that support enterprise networking strategies.Mentor team members and promote engineering standards and best practices.Qualifications:10+ years of experience in network architecture, engineering, or security within enterprise environments.Hands-on experience designing and deploying large-scale network and application delivery infrastructure.Experience with cloud deployments such as Google Cloud Platform, and OCI Cloud.Strong background in virtual networking, data center networking, and cloud networking hybrid cloud environments. .Experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and load balancing.Deep understanding of routing protocols and modern network overlays (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EVPN, VXLAN).Experience operating within complex, multi-vendor network environments supporting large organizations.Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
