We are actively seeking an Android Engineer for one of our clients.Location: San Bruno, CA / Sunnyvale, CA - RemoteRequired Skills: Kotlin, Java, Should have worked on enterprise Android appDay-to-day responsibilities: Coding, Review others code, writing unit-tests, attending scrum. This exclusively developer (coding) role.Job Duties:Design and build e-commerce applications for the Android platformEnsure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsCollaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new featuresIdentify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugsHelp maintain code quality, organization, and automatizationLead and mentor junior developersSkills:5+ years experience working with the following technologiesExpert knowledge of Java and the JDKExpert knowledge of the Android SDKAdvanced Android UI Skills (Fragments, Custom view components)Experience writing multi-threaded and Networked appsExpert level debugging and analysis skills using ADBExperience with the application submission/provisioning processExperience leading a small team of developers and delegating tasksExcellent communication skills in both technical and non-technical discussions.Have designed and developed a complete Android app from top to bottom.Expert knowledge of IntelliJ or Android StudioHave worked with OpenGL or the NDK and high performance graphics codeWeb Services experience as it relates to mobile appsSolid understanding of Android UI paradigms from Gingerbread to Oreo (Material Design)Experience with protocol buffersWith regardsNaveen | Talent AcquisitionRootshell Enterprise Technologies Inc.
