DescriptionLocation: Chatsworth, GACompany: Premier Polymers LLCEmployment Type: Full-timePosition OverviewPremier Polymers LLC is a specialty chemical manufacturing company seeking a mid-level Chemist to support quality control (QC), research & development (R&D), and manufacturing operations. This role involves routine and advanced chemical analysis, method support, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced industrial environment.Key Responsibilities• Perform analytical testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products• Support QC release testing and investigate out-of-specification (OOS) results• Provide analytical support for R&D projects, formulation changes, and technology transfer• Assist manufacturing with process troubleshooting, investigations, and optimization• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation (e.g., GC, HPLC, FTIR, UV-Vis, wet chemistry)• Analyze and interpret data, prepare technical summaries, and maintain accurate documentation• Follow established SOPs, quality systems, and safety requirementsQualifications• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field• 3-7 years of experience in an industrial, QC, or manufacturing laboratory• Hands-on experience with common analytical techniques and instrumentation• Working knowledge of quality systems and laboratory documentation• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in teamsPreferred Experience• Experience in specialty or industrial chemical manufacturing• Method development, validation, or transfer experience• Manufacturing or plant support experience• Familiarity with LIMS and data trending or statistical analysisWhat We Offer• Competitive salary and benefits package• Opportunities for technical and professional growth
