Landscape Management Foreman Laurel Group Landscape Management is currently seeking 7 Foreman. The Foreman will be responsible for executing site level tasks on client sites. The Foreman will direct the work of 2-4 other employees and ensure assigned tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards set by Laurel Group Landscape Management. Foreman will oversee crews working in varying service lines including basic maintenance, landscape installation, and supportive services like irrigation, seasonal color management, and chemical applications. Description of duties: Maintain a schedule and ensure service expectations are met Opportunities in Eastern and Western Suffolk Surface customer problems or concerns and report back to Operations Manager Proactively assist in resolving issues with customer service when needed Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with company policies Communicate regularly with Operation Manager to ensure client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded Work to identify more efficient ways to perform work Oversee day to day site operations and delegate work to the crew Working with Operation Manager to develop and train crews Ensure equipment preventative maintenance is performed as needed and equipment is in good working order Complete daily timesheets Skills we're seeking: 2 + years experience in a landscape-related field Clean drivers license Ability to drive a truck and trailer Perks: Competitive salary Paid time off Medical, dental, and vision insurance Salary: $19.00 to $23.00 /hour Work Location: North Shore Long Island Benefits: Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Retirement plan Holiday pay Work Remotely No This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous People-oriented -- enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects Adaptable/flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction Detail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger picture Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Work Location: In person
