Our values define who we are.Be AuthenticPractice HumilityCultivate TeamworkValue TimeBe TrustworthyWe offer a very competitive salary and generous benefits including:Low-cost Medical, Dental, Vision PlansPaid Life InsuranceShort- and Long-Term DisabilityPaid Time Off & Holidays401(k) with 100% match up to 4%Commuter and Company-paid Toll ProgramsComplimentary Daily Shift MealESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:FLEET MAINTENANCEPerform sanding, priming, and painting to address rust, sun-faded areas, and scratches on metal surfacesInspect and maintain tires, including:Checking for wear and proper pressureRotating tires as neededReplace seat bottoms and seat backs as neededRemove and replace minor mechanical and cosmetic partsConduct bike rental repairs and maintenance to ensure safe operationPREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE PROGRAMExecute daily inspection checklists to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of each cart, including: Tire inflation and rotation checksTest drives for brake performance and steering alignmentFrame inspectionsLights and electrical checksBody damage assessmentsVerification of PACE system functionality and accuracyMitigate and repair rust, including prep and repaintingMaintain structured maintenance schedules for each cart (assigned by calendar day/week)INVENTORY & RECORD KEEPINGMaintain appropriate inventory levels of high-wear items (tires, seat components, etc.)Keep detailed service records for each individual golf cartTrack maintenance history, repairs, and inspection outcomesCOMMUNICATION & ESCALATIONReport directly to the Golf Cart Rental ManagerIdentify and report equipment failures or advanced repair needsEscalate complex repairs to on-site lead technicians prior to engaging outside vendorsQUALIFICATIONS:Previous experience in mechanical repair, small engine repair, or fleet maintenance preferredExperience with golf carts, bicycles, or similar equipment strongly preferredAbility to perform basic bodywork (sanding, painting, refinishing)Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standardsAbility to maintain organized records and inventorySelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage workloadPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbsAbility to stand, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditionsComfortable working with tools, equipment, and mechanical componentsSchedule:Timbers Company is a developer and operator of exceptional boutique hotels, residence clubs and resort communities located in some of the most sought-after destinations in the world.
