The ideal candidate will have strong experience in backend development using Kotlin, Go, or TypeScript, along with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), microservices, and event-driven architectures.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop scalable backend services and APIs.Build cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Develop RESTful and gRPC-based services.Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Participate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code.Ensure system performance, reliability, security, and scalability.Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.Required Skills8+ years of software development experience.Strong expertise in Kotlin, Go, or TypeScript.Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Hands-on experience with Kafka and distributed systems.Strong knowledge of REST APIs and gRPC.Experience with Terraform and CI/CD tools.Database experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Bigtable, or Spanner.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred SkillsMicroservices architecture.GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, and Cloud Deploy.Event-driven system design.AI-assisted development tools and practices.
