The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the organization. This includes spearheading the development of national and regional strategies to secure annual funding, identifying and cultivating relationships with a diverse range of donors, and establishing performance measures to evaluate the effectiveness of the fundraising program. The SVP will also be a key leader in the organization, fostering a culture of philanthropy, and working closely with the CEO and the board to engage in strategic decision-making. Applicants for the SVP of Advancement position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of experience in revenue and fundraising strategy, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding goals. The role requires a leader with strong communication skills, the ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders, and a deep commitment to the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion. The ideal candidate will have a flexible and adaptable leadership style, excellent organizational skills, and a strong command of relevant tools and technologies.
