Biomedical Equipment Technician

Position SummaryProvide repairs and preventative maintenance for Biomedical equipment. Maintain records, document results, and coordinate outside resources for repairs.Essential DutiesPerform repairs and calibrations to biomedical equipment and maintain service records.Assist other personnel as required.Research resources and suppliers.Maintains work area in a neat and orderly fashion.Participate in ongoing educational opportunities provided.Work with auditing agencies and their requirements, i.e., ACHA and TJC.Work with NFPA-99 and electrical leakage limits with a good understanding of biological parameters (monitoring; HR/Pulse O2/O2 sat/pressures/etc.)Required ExperienceOne year of experience repairing Biomedical Equipment or a recent internship with an accredited program.Preference is given to experience repairing hemodialysis, ventilators, or anesthesia equipment.An associate degree in electronics from an accredited school or equivalent military experience is preferred.BenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision insurance with Health Savings Account (HSA)Accident, Critical Illness, Life & Disability Insurance8 paid holidays20 days of PTO annuallyLegalShield Membership OptionsTuition/Education assistancePaid Technical Certifications annually
