It provides a comprehensive suite of software and tools, including a proprietary Learning Management System (LMS), designed to help partners thrive. The Company is poised for continued growth in both existing and new markets through organic initiatives and strategic acquisitions.About the Role:The Director of Engineering & Product will play a crucial role in the Company’s long-term success and growth. This position involves enhancing and expanding the current suite of software products, collaborating with the existing team, and leading the integration of acquired businesses and LMS content/applications. Required Qualifications:5+ years of hands-on experience in developing Java-based applications; familiarity with Quasar framework (VueJS) for frontend and NodeJS for backend is essential.5+ years of software development experience with Windows and Web API technologies.Experience with relational databases, including T-SQL and table design.Expertise in architectural design and integration.Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, principles, and tools.Experience with industry-standard build/deployment tools.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to interact with customers to identify needs and translate them into new tools.Proficiency in translating logical and functional system requirements into code.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Capability to lead projects and team members from start to finish.Based near the Company Headquarters in Northern Florida or willing to commute at least 60% of workdays (e.g., three days per week).Preferred Qualifications (nice to have):Experience in Education Technology and LMSs.Knowledge of cloud services technology (e.g., Azure).Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Crystal Reports).Interest in Education and Safety is a plus.
