Sr. Development Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Development Manager to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Real Estate & Construction environment.Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $140,250 – $165,000 annuallyResponsibilities Develop tailored development schedules for land lease/acquisition Lead a multidisciplinary team to confirm site viability Represent clients at local boards and council meetings for zoning approvals Manage and coordinate surveys to qualify land sites Facilitate communication with all stakeholders throughout the project Oversee program efforts for new developments and relocations Ensure projects meet timelines by monitoring progress and adjusting schedulesQualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related discipline 10+ years of development management in commercial construction or similar experience Expertise in feasibility studies, site planning, and permitting Proven track record with local municipalities for site plan approvals Experience managing restaurant, banking, and/or pad site projects preferred PMP, PE, AIA, LEED, or CMAA certification preferred Proficient in project management softwareBenefits Health, vision, and dental insurance Flexible spending and health savings accounts Retirement savings plans Life and disability insurance programs Paid and unpaid time away from workOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
