Each entity plays a crucial factor in driving innovation, enhancing user engagement, and achieving business objectives in this dynamic multi-industry landscape.The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance network infrastructure to meet the operational and business needs of the organization. This role ensures that the network is scalable, secure, and reliable, playing a critical part in supporting the company's IT and operational functions. The Senior Network troubleshoot complex network issues and collaborate with other IT teams. This is an IN OFFICE position. We're located in Plano, TX. ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain data center networks to support business operations.Plan and execute network upgrades, capacity management, and future expansion.Create network architecture that is scalable and efficient, focusing on redundancy, high availability, and performance.Configure and manage firewalls, security appliances, and VPNs to ensure the protection of internal and external network traffic.Implement security policies, standards, and best practices to mitigate threats and vulnerabilities.Perform regular audits, vulnerability assessments, and implement necessary measures to enhance security posture.Utilize network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Cisco Prime) to proactively identify and resolve network issues.Analyze network performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies to reduce latency, improve speed, and enhance reliability.Create and maintain comprehensive network diagrams, technical documentation, and standard operating procedures.Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure the network's availability during critical incidents.Research, recommend, and implement new technologies to keep the network modern and efficient.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or related area5 - 7 years' of experience in network engineering or administration.Experience with network architecture, implementation, and large-scale network operations in a data center environmentExcellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network problems quickly.Strong understanding of networking protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, TCP/IP, MPLS, DNS).Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).Proficient in network security, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and access control.Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
