As part of the Aebi Schmidt Group, we are committed to delivering superior solutions to our customers as well as providing rewarding career opportunities.PositionMachinists are responsible for machining and fabricating structural metal products.ResponsibilitiesRead blueprints, sketches, and computer-aided design (CAD) and computer aidedmanufacturing (CAM) files.Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping. Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task.Use of machines like lathes and milling machines.Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy.Present finished workpieces for Quality Dept Inspections and make modifications as needed.Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, manual mills and manual lathes.Follow job related materials, work instructions and set up sheets.Design and construct templates and fixtures upon receiving approval from supervisor.Operate an overhead crane and forklift.QualificationsAbility to work from established layout and follows sequence of operations.Able to enter information into established computer system, production records, logs, time clock, and other forms.Can verify conformance of work piece to specifications.
