We are seeking a Quality Control Technician for our Ink Lab. Check out this opportunity to be part of our team and contribute to our growth and success. As a Quality Control Tech, you will be responsible for:Performing quality control testing of production batches of inks and coatingsCompleting associated clerical work (entering results into SAP, printing labels, filing, etc.)Performing 5S cleaning and maintaining the areaEstablishing and maintaining accurate and complete quality records in SAPPerforming color quality tests; making batch additions and adjustmentsImplementing necessary and timely batch corrections directly to ProductionCalibrating and verifying test equipmentInvestigating and analyzing non-conforming batches (internal and external)Supporting Lean ManufacturingEnsuring sample retention managementPerforming some customer proofing QualificationsTo perform your job as expected, you will be required to:Have a high school diploma or GED equivalentBe able to pass a color vision testDemonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs (MS Office) and other computer skillsBe flexible to cover other shifts if neededHave excellent verbal, written, reading comprehension and good math skillsHave 6 to 12 months previous Lab/QC related work experienceBe able to stand for long periods of timeIn addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:An understanding of manufacturing operations and basic aspects of printing technologiesExperience working in a high volume departmentPrior experience in Lean Manufacturing facilityTrade or Tech schoolAvailability and willingness to work overtime as neededSAP KnowledgePrevious experience in the ink industryAdditional InformationWe offer a competitive salary with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, pet insurance, HSA and FSA, long-term care, 401(k), and more.
