The primary function of this position is to provide physical therapy on campus at UCLA to students of UCLA thereby supporting UCLA students in the attainment of their goals. Major responsibilities include evaluating and providing appropriate individualized physical therapy treatment while meeting documentation standards and productivity levels. The primary function of this role is direct patient care. Salary & Compensation*UCLA provides a full pay range. Actual salary offers consider factors, including budget, prior experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. Salary offers at the top of the range are not common. Qualifications3 years Experience practicing as a licensed physical therapist (Required) And
1 year Experience in the field of orthopedics and/or sports (Required) And
1 year Experience using an electronic medical record for documentation (Required)
Proficiency in word, outlook, and basic use of excel. (Required)
Proficient written and verbal communication skills to accurately convey information to individuals at all levels of the organization. (Required)
Skill and ability to work effectively with staff and patients of diverse cultural, ethnic/racial backgrounds and sexual/gender orientations. (Required)
Understanding of clinical workflows in an outpatient setting and interest in clinical information systems and outcome measurement. (Required)
Working knowledge of disease, prevention, and health promotion needs of late adolescent and adult patterns. (Required)
Knowledge of Mandated Reporter Rules and Regulations of California. (Required)
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately. (Required)
Knowledge and understanding of the health-care needs of a college campus. (Preferred)
Ability to work with post-op ACL, hip, and shoulder labral repairs. (Preferred) Education, Licenses, Certifications & Personal AffiliationsOther Type of Degree Master or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (Required) Physical Therapy License Upon Hire (Required) And
BLS Certification Upon Hire (Required) And
Orthopedic Clinical Specialist Upon Hire (Preferred) Or
Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Upon Hire (Preferred) Or

Age Requirement: Candidate(s) must be 18 years or older to be eligible to be hired.

TB Test: Continued employment is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory TB test.
