Associate Technician - Shipping/Receiving & Distribution (Mid Level)

Title: Shipping/Receiving & Distribution (Mid Level)Duration: 06+ Months ContractLocation: New Port Richey, Florida, 34654Shift - The work schedule is Monday thru Friday, 9 "00 Am to 5:30 PM and overtime is routine.Description: Top 3 skills:1 Would like the person to have , Shipping, Stockroom, packing experience.2 the person would be standing on the feet all day long (No sitting)3 The person needs to be good with there handsThis is a contractor role to end of year.As a Material Handler I (Shipping), you will have the opportunity to* Label, pack, and loads items for shipment according to specifications.* Process outbound order and inbound receipts according to SOP.* Unload delivery vehicles and move items to the appropriate location.* Prepare shipping documents according to SOP.* Maintain records of all items received and shipped.* Calculate surface, volumes, weights and dimensions of packaged equipment or components.* Report customer feedback to management in a timely manner, including any signs or trends ofcustomer dissatisfaction.* Answer telephone calls and operate various types of office machines and computers necessaryto perform duties.* Create accurate and timely reports as requested by management or customers.* Perform inventory pickup and or drop off, with a company vehicle, to offsite warehouse andcomplete electronic location transfers.* Perform other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* High school diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED).* Minimum of one (1) year of shipping experience within a warehouse environment.* Must be computer savvy/literate.* Must have intermediary math skills.* Able and willing to cross-train in all roles within Shipping and Receiving areas.* Ability to work overtime as assigned.#LS01
