RN - Med Surg Shift: 12-hour shifts - Nights (1845 to 0715) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. General job duties. Types of procedures required. Flex RN floats between various medical and surgical units. Shift or schedule requirements. 12-hour shifts - Night (1845 to 0715) - Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation. No guarantee of hours. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. Meditech EMR; pyxis; wound vac; chest tubes. Required skills and minimum years of experience. 2-10 years experience. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. BLS, ACLS (Preferred: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC). Floating to other units/departments. Medical Unit; Laulima Unit; Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions). Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept. Medical - 77; Laulima (surgical Acute) - 18; Cardiovascular Unit - 15. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. Medical 1:6 for days and eves, 1:8 for nights Laulima 1:6 Cardiovascular 1:4 Ratio may vary due to unexpected leaves. Dress Code. Professional nursing attire - clean scrubs. Orientation time provided for each unit. Additional Information: Must arrive the Thursday before start in order to go to employee health appointment on Friday. Please do not accept the start date offered if they cannot be there on time.
