Respiratory Therapy Technologist
Under the supervision of a licensed respiratory therapist or licensed physician, the Respiratory Therapist for the Department of Medicine will provide respiratory support to all patients with abnormalities of cardiopulmonary function. Administration and monitoring of all diagnostic and therapeutic modalities within the service’s scope of practice.
The Respiratory Therapist will be required to conduct Pulmonary Function Tests primarily at the MAP practice, but will be required to provide PFT services at Hutch location as needed.
This is a part-time position,
Tuesday-Friday 7:30-6pm. 3400 Bainbridge Ave 2nd Floor.
*Travel to other locations (Hutch) based on operational needs.
Job Requirements:
Associates degree in Respiratory Care required
Graduate of AMA a respiratory therapist program
One year of experience required.
Current NYS respiratory therapist license.
CRTT or RRT or registry eligible by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
BLS by the American Heart Association.
EQUIPMENT OPERATION:
• Pasteurmatic for the cleaning and disinfection of non-disposable respiratory care equipment.
• Oxygen and air cylinders and regulators
