Job description Case Manager for a Geriatrics Clinic in Long Beach Overview: MedWell Medical is a small family oriented concierge type internal medicine and geriatrics clinic that takes pride in providing excellent medical care to our patients. We are seeking a detail oriented and highly motivated Case Manager willing to assume the important tasks of helping with case management and back office for our patients. Ideal candidate is driven, ambitious and excited about the opportunity to work and help in a growing team based, technology enabled medical practice. Position details: · Full time position M-F. Essential functions: · Case Management of a panel of patients · Greeting and checking in concierge patients. · Record patient vitals. · Answering phone lines. Direct calls and take messages as needed. · Verify patient information, insurance eligibility, and collect payment · Assist patient in completing forms and process patient related paperwork. · Make follow up appointments and calls patient to confirm appointment. Reschedule appointments as appropriate. EMR Office Ally · Perform various front and back office duties in a fast paced concierge oriented clinical environment. · Placing and following up on authorization. · Review and sort through faxes daily. Candidate must possess: · Excellent customer service. · Excellent organizational skills. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Reliable, flexible, and able to work under pressure. · Passionate with Senior care. · Bilingual. Spanish Speaking MedWell Senior Clinic is a concierge geriatric clinic that focuses on quality over quality. We don't see a lot of patients per day but we do everything we can for our Seniors. We hold their hands every step of the way.
