Practice Managing Director Technology And TransformationRSM Risk Consulting is currently seeking a highly skilled Practice Managing Director Technology and Transformation who will be responsible for providing thought leadership and delivering technology solutions for our clients within the banking industry.We help financial services clients transition to an analytical, data-based organization for better risk management by delivering integrated technology solutions. From strategy to design and implementation, our industry and technical experts provide relevant ideas and insights and innovative solutions tailored to global banking needs.Responsibilities:Provide thought leadership, recommend and implement technology solutions for our clients, from automation to AI/MLManage multiple engagements and lead teams that provide advisory services directly with our clients, helping them solve complex business and technology challengesBuild and develop new connections as well as leverage your existing network and personal brand in the marketplace to drive growth for the firmParticipate in relevant industry associations and events to develop and/or maintain industry focus and relationshipsRecommend and Implement improvements, design and build new processes and tools, and transform, modernize and improve our clients' operationsDraw upon your demonstrated technical, industry and risk advisory knowledge to become a trusted advisor to our clients within the financial services sector; incorporate consideration for emerging risks, trends and concepts into client serviceFacilitate human-centered design approach, including interviews and workshops. Define vision, create customer personas / user journeys and identify pain points and opportunities for improvementRecruit, develop, and inspire future leaders of the firm through mentorship that focuses on understanding the potential and aspirations of the workforce and aligning opportunities accordinglyPreferred Skills/Qualifications:8+ years of experience leading large-scale programs and/or transformations for financial services companiesAn undergraduate or master's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of studyExperience within a consulting firm focused on technology consulting, process improvement, and modernizationStrong Technology acumen with a mix of large-scale software development (cloud-based preferably) and Integration experienceExperience with user-centered design. Ability to lead Discovery and quickly identify, understand, and develop solutions to business problemsProven experience leading Agile delivery teams and ensuring best practices are followedAbility to clearly articulate ideas and translate complex technology issues to a business audience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessaryAbility to develop proposals and business cases. Recent successful experience in cultivating new business and related market-facing activitiesAbility to work independently and remotely, with willingness to travel for client engagements as neededApplicable certificationMicrosoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Access, and Project
