Litigation Paralegal
Part-time/Full-time Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our legal team. We are a small law firm located in Draper. In this role, you will be managing a variety of litigation cases. Your expertise in legal research, document management, and case management will help ensure the smooth progression of the litigation processes from beginning to resolution. ResponsibilitiesAssist attorneys with all phases of litigation by preparing and organizing case files, pleadings, discovery documents, and trial materials.Gather relevant medical records and medical bills.Manage case management systems such as Client files Electronic, paper and Outlook Calendars to track deadlines, court filings, and case progress.Review and analyze legal documents for accuracy and completeness; draft legal correspondence and pleadings with precision.Coordinate with courts, agencies, and external vendors to facilitate document filings and service of process.Maintain meticulous records of all case activities, correspondence, and relevant documentation in compliance with firm policies.Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, proofreading, transcription, and managing incoming calls with professional phone etiquette. QualificationsParalegal experience with a strong background in litigation cases.Proficiency with document review processes and legal drafting standards for pleadings.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently under tight deadlines.Excellent communication skills for interviewing clients and coordinating with team members.Experience supporting attorneys in trial preparation and court filings; familiarity with electronic filing systems.Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining high levels of accuracy in data entry and record keeping.Demonstrated proficiency in clerical tasks such as proofreading, transcription, filing, and document management systems.A proactive and positive attitude combined with strong attention to detail ensures thoroughness in all aspects of legal support.
